No. 909 is a gas-fired, 5000F walk-in oven from Grieve, currently used for curing various rubber parts. Workspace dimensions measure 30”W x 48”D x 57”H and the oven is supplied with a shelf truck, equipped with shelf supports on 3 ½” centers.
175,000 BTU/hr. are installed in a modulating natural gas burner. A 2,000 CFM, 2-HP recirculating blower motor provides horizontal airflow from a top-mounted heat chamber. The unit features 4” thick insulated walls, a stainless steel exterior with #4 brushed finish and a Type 430 stainless steel interior with continuously backwelded seam construction. The oven floor has 4” insulation plus truck wheel guide tracks built-in.
Motorized dampers on the air intake and exhaust provide accelerated cooling. The oven exhauster discharges into a scrubber unit which utilizes recirculated water, sprayed by a 1 ½-HP pump into the exhaust to remove particulates. This scrubber is constructed of Type 304 stainless steel with brass piping.
No. 909 also includes a 10” diameter circular chart recorder, ten permanently mounted survey thermocouples connected to a jack strip at the control panel and a fused disconnect switch. All safety devices required by IRI, FM and NFPA Standard 86 for gas-heated equipment are onboard, including a 325 CFM, 1/3-HP powered forced exhauster.

No. 894 is a 650°F electric heat belt conveyor oven from Grieve, currently used for sintering Teflon material onto flat sheets at a customer’s facility. The workspace dimensions of this unit measure 30”W x 48”D x 15”H.
Workloads travel on a 24” wide, 1/2” x 1/2” 316 stainless steel conveyor belt, driven by a 1/4 HP motor drive, variable from 0.4 to 8.4 inches per minute. An 18” long open belt loading zone, 48” insulated heat zone with recirculated airflow and 18” long open belt unloading zone area are provided.
60 kW total are installed in Incoloy sheathed tubular heating elements, while a 2000 CFM, 2-HP recirculating blower provides vertical upward and downward airflow to the workload.
This Grieve oven features an aluminized steel exterior, 6” thick insulated walls, Type 304, 2B stainless steel interior and an exhaust hood over each end of the workspace, equipped with a 12” diameter tubeaxil fan driven by a 1/2-HP motor.
No. 894 also includes a magnehelic pressure gauge on the blower outlet and exhauster outlet, a manual reset excess temperature controller with separate control contactors, recording temperature controller and SCR power controller. The unit is constructed to stringent JIC/NEMA 12 electrical standards.

No. 923 is an electrically-heated, 500°F Class 100 cleanroom cabinet oven, currently used for drying precision parts in baskets. Workspace dimensions measure 36”W x 36”D x 51”H. 30KW power installed in Incoloy-sheathed tubular heating elements and a 1500 CFM, 2-HP recirculating blower provide heated horizontal airflow to the workload.
This cleanroom oven features an aluminized steel exterior finished with white epoxy paint, #4 brushed finish stainless steel door cover and control panel face, Type 304, 2B finish stainless steel interior with continuously backwelded seams and 4” thick insulated walls. Double front doors with positive latching door hardware are also included.
No. 923 has two 30” x 24” x 6” thick stainless steel high-temperature HEPA recirculating filters and easily removable ductwork to expose the filters for inspection and replacement.
Controls on this Class 100 cleanroom cabinet oven include a digital indicating temperature controller, manual reset excess temperature controller with separate contactors, recirculating blower airflow safety switch and solid-state contactors.

No. 906 is an electrically-heated vertical conveyor oven from Grieve, currently used for heating aluminum-clad automotive modules at a customer’s facility. This oven has a maximum operating temperature of 250°F and overall workspace dimensions measuring 36”W x 38”D x 92”H.
20 kW total are installed in Incoloy sheathed tubular heating elements, while a 4,200 CFM, 3-HP recirculating blower provides vertical upward airflow to the load. Eleven (11) trays, each 30”W x 14”D, ride vertically on a chain drive, individually indexed to the load/unload position.
This Grieve oven features an aluminized steel exterior and interior, top-mounted heat chamber, 4” thick insulated walls, two (2) independent doors for access to the workspace and heat chamber, loading table and safety light curtain at the load/unload position, plus a viewing window.

No. 902 is an electric, high-temperature walk-in oven with a maximum operating temperature of 850°F. Specially modified with rollout shelving, it is currently in use heat treating various components at a customer’s facility. 100 kW total are installed in Incoloy sheathed tubular heating elements, while a 10,000 CFM, 7-1/2-HP recirculating blower provides combination airflow to the workload.
This oven has overall workspace dimensions measuring 72”W x 78”D x 78”H, with a top-mounted heating chamber, aluminized steel interior and exterior, plus 3 (three) rollout steel shelves, each 60”W x 72”L, rated for 400 lb. Loads. 8” thick oven walls comprise 2” of 1900°F block and 6” of 10 lb./cf density rockwool insulation.
Grieve No.902 features inner and outer door gaskets. The inner gasket seals directly against the door plug, while the outer gasket seals against the front face of the oven. Both doors are equipped with expansion joints on the inner face to guarantee uniform sealing at all operating temperatures.
Oven controls include a digital programming and recording temperature controller, manual reset temperature controller with separate contactors, recirculating blower airflow safety switch and SCR power controller.

350,000 BTU/HR installed in a modulating natural gas burner heat workspace, while a 4,200 CFM, 3-HP recirculating blower provides horizontal airflow across the workload. A top-mounted heat chamber and remote-mounted control panel (shown aside the unit in the photo) are included.
This walk-in oven features a stainless steel exterior with #4 brushed finish, Type 430 stainless steel interior, 4” thick insulated walls, 2” thick insulated floor with two pairs of truck wheel guide tracks and motorized dampers on the exhaust for accelerated cooling.
No. 884 has all safety equipment required by IRI, FM and NFPA standard 86 for gas-heated equipment, including a 975 CFM, 1-HP powered forced exhauster.

This cabinet oven features a 16 ga. Type 304, 2B finish stainless steel interior with continuously backwelded seam construction. The exterior of the oven is finished with white epoxy paint and includes a #4 brushed stainless steel door cover and control panel face. The unit has single side-swinging doors on the front and back of the workspace for easy access, plus 4” thick insulated walls.
No. 880 also features two 30” x 24” x 6” thick stainless steel, high-temperature HEPA recirculating filters.

No. 878 is a 350°F gas-heated tunnel oven from Grieve, currently used for drying water from aluminum parts hung on a monorail pass-through conveyor at the customer’s facility. Workspace dimensions of this unit measure 30”W x 192”D x 66”H. The workload passes through a 24” long insulated, unheated entrance vestibule, a 144” long insulated heat zone with recirculated airflow and a 24” long insulated, unheated exit vestibule. This oven is suspended from the factory ceiling and operated by a remote control panel (shown aside the unit in photo).
