500°F Electric Inert Atmosphere Oven from Grieve

No. 930 is an electrically-heated, 500°F inert atmosphere cabinet oven from Grieve, currently used for liquid flow solder masking under a nitrogen atmosphere. Workspace dimensions measure 38” W x 38” D x 38” H. 30 kW are installed in Incoloy-sheathed tubular heating elements, while a 1500 CFM, 1-1/2 HP recirculating blower provides horizontal airflow to the load.
This Grieve inert atmosphere cabinet oven features 4” insulated walls, aluminized steel exterior, Type 430 stainless steel interior and an automatic door switch to shut off heaters and blower when the door is opened.
Special inert atmosphere construction features include a pressure regulator, flowmeter, pressure gauge, inner oven walls sealing directly against a 1/2” thick silicone rubber door seal, air jacket on the inner oven for cooling, blower shaft seal, positive latching door hardware, adjustable offset door hinges, outlet with pressure relief, interior seams welded gas-tight and all oven wall penetrations equipped with compression fittings to maintain atmosphere integrity.
No. 930 also includes a digital programming temperature controller, manual reset excess temperature controller with separate contactors, recirculating blower airflow safety switch and fused disconnect switch.

1250°F Electric Universal Oven from Grieve

No. 931 is an electrically-heated, 1250°F high-temperature universal oven from Grieve, currently used for various heat treatments at a customer’s facility. Workspace dimensions measure 25”W x 36”D x 24”H. 18 kW are installed in Incoloy-sheathed tubular heating elements, while a 1000 CFM, 1-HP recirculating blower provides a universal front-to-rear airflow to the load.
This Grieve universal oven features 10”-thick insulated walls, comprising 2” of 1900°F block and 8” of 10 lb/cf density rockwool insulation, plus an aluminized steel exterior, Type 304 stainless steel interior and a motor-operated vertical lift door controlled by a foot pedal.
No. 931 also includes a digital indicating temperature controller, manual rest excess temperature controller with separate contactors, recirculating blower airflow safety switch, fused disconnect switch and a 10’ power cord.

No. 929 is an electrically-heated, 500°F cabinet oven with vertical airflow from Grieve, currently used for various heat processings at a customer’s facility. Workspace dimensions measure 26”W x 38”D x 50”H. A 700 CFM, 1/2 HP recirculating blower provides a vertical upward airflow to as many as 16 shelves inside the oven workspace.
This Grieve cabinet oven features an aluminized steel exterior, Type 304 stainless steel interior, brushed stainless steel control panel face, heavy-duty door and door frame with explosion-venting latches and 4” insulated walls.

Workspace dimensions measure 36” wide x 48” deep x 36” high. 18KW installed in Nichrome wire elements heat the unit, while a 1000 CFM, 3/4HP recirculating blower provides universal front-to-rear airflow to the workload.
This Grieve ovens features 4” insulated walls throughout, plus an aluminized steel interior and exterior. A motor-operated vertical lift door is onboard, along with an integral leg stand for convenient work height off the factory floor.

No. 927 is an electrically-heated, 750°F cabinet oven from Grieve, specially modified with internal air filtration, currently used for curing Teflon. 64 kW are installed in Incoloy sheathed tubular heating elements, while a 3300 CFM, 2 HP recirculating blower provides horizontal airflow to the load. Workspace dimensions measure 50”W x 50”D x 50”H.
This Grieve cabinet oven includes two 24” x 24” x 6” thick stainless steel
high-temperature HEPA recirculating air filters, plus a 24” x 24” x 6” thick HEPA fresh air filter with a 2” prefitter.
No. 927 is constructed with an aluminized steel exterior, Type 304, 2B stainless steel interior with continuously backwelded seams, 6” insulated walls and all safety equipment required for handling flammable solvents, including explosion-venting door hardware.
A digital programming temperature controller, 10” diameter circular chart recorder and 30-hour shutdown timer are also onboard this Grieve cabinet oven.

250°F Electric Shelf Oven

No. 926 is an electrically-heated, 250°F shelf oven and environmental test chamber from Grieve, currently used for age testing electrical/electronic components. 12kW installed in Nichrome wire elements provide heat to the load. Workspace dimensions measure 68” W x 30”D x 66” H. A 1000 CFM, 1 HP recirculating blower provides horizontal airflow.
This Grieve shelf oven features 4”insulated walls, aluminized steel interior and exterior, plus a 20” W x 56” H double-pane Lexan window in each of the unit’s two doors.

2000°F Gas-fired Pallet Furnace

No. 925 is a gas-heated, 2000°F pallet furnace, currently used for heat treating. Workspace dimensions measure 30”W x 48”D x 36”H. 700,000 BTU/HR are installed in two modulating natural gas burners with a floor-mounted combustion air blower. This unit also includes a 325 CFM intake pressurizing blower, with motorized dampers on the intake and exhaust for accelerated cooling.
This Grieve pallet furnace is provided with 7” thick insulated walls, comprising 5” of 2300°F ceramic fiber and 2” of 1700°F ceramic fiber. The workload rests on a removable pallet with 7” thick insulation, comprising 4-1/2” thick 2300°F firebrick and 2-1/2” thick 2300°F firebrick.
Built to JIC/NEMA 12 electrical standards, No. 925 includes all safety equipment required by IRI, FM and NFPA Standard 86 for gas-heated equipment. In addition, a 10” diameter circular chart recorder, digital programming temperature controller and recirculating blower airflow safety switch.

Two-zone Electric Belt Conveyor Oven

No. 924 is an electrically-heated, two-zone 3500F belt conveyor oven from Grieve, currently used for preheating molds. Workspace dimensions measure 24” W x 5’ D in Zone One and 24” W x 20’ D in Zone Two, with 15” H throughout. 80 KW are installed (20 KW in Zone One, 60 KW in Zone Two) in Incoloy-sheathed tubular elements to provide heat.
Parts pass through a 1’ open belt loading zone, a 5’ insulated heat zone with recirculated airflow, a 20’ insulated heat zone with recirculated airflow, and a 1’ open belt unloading zone. A 2300 CFM, 2-HP recirculating blower in Zone One and 6000 CFM, 5-HP recirculating blower in Zone Two provide vertical downward airflow to the load.
This Grieve belt conveyor oven features 4” thick insulated walls, an aluminized steel interior and exterior, plus an 18”wide, 1” x 1” heavy-duty flat wire conveyor belt with 1/2-HP motor drive, variable from 1.4 to 27.8 inches per minute. The unit was constructed to split into two sections for shipment to the customer’s location..
Control and safety devices on No. 924 include digital indicating temperature controllers, manual reset excess temperature controllers with separate contactors, recirculating blower airflow safety switches and a two-pen, 10” diameter circular chart recorder. Side access doors are provided throughout this Grieve belt conveyor oven (shown in photo) for load inspection and maintenance.

2000°F Electric Heavy-duty Furnace from Grieve

No. 921 is an electrically-heated, 2000°F heavy-duty box furnace, currently used for various heat treatments at a customer’s facility. Workspace dimensions measure 24”W x 48”D x 24”H. 34KW power installed in nickel chrome wire coils, supported by vacuum-formed ceramic fiber, provides heat to the workload. An in-door heating element further provides improved temperature uniformity in this furnace.
The unit features 7” thick insulated walls, comprising 5” of 2300°F ceramic fiber and 2” of 1700°F ceramic fiber while the 6-1/2” floor insulation consists of 4-1/2” of 2300°F firebrick and 2” of 1900°F block insulation. This Grieve heavy-duty furnace has a 3/16” steel plate reinforced shell and 1/2” steel front plate construction.
No. 921 also includes a motor-operated vertical lift door, as well as a digital programming temperature controller and manual reset excess temperature controller with separate contactors, for improved efficiency and safety.

650ºF Electric Heat Belt Conveyor Oven from Grieve

No. 851 is a 650oF electrically-heated belt conveyor oven from Grieve, currently used for soldering metal parts at a customer’s facility.
Workspace dimensions of this oven measure 18” wide x 96” deep x 15” high. A 2’ long open belt loading zone, two 4’ long insulated heat zones with independent recirculated airflow and temperature control, 1’ long open zone, 12’ long cooling zone and 2’ long open belt unloading zone constitute the full heat processing system of this Grieve oven. 60KW installed in Nichrome wire heating elements provide the heat, while two 1000 CFM, 2-HP recirculating blowers furnish downward vertical airflow to the workloads.
This Grieve oven features 5” insulated walls, an aluminized steel exterior, Type 304 stainless steel interior, two 16” diameter tubeaxial fans, each driven by a ¾-HP motor to push/pull air through the cooling zone, as well as a 12” wide, 1” x 1” high carbon steel flat wire conveyor belt with ¼-HP motor drive, variable speed from 1.3 to 25.3 ipm.
Safety and control equipment on-board No. 851 include a digital indicating temperature controller, manual reset excess temperature controller with separate contactors, recirculating blower airflow safety switch and fused disconnect switch.
