This Grieve oven is a 400°F (204°C) electrically heated shelf oven, currently used for heat treating parts at the customer’s facility. Workspace dimensions of this oven measure 56” W x 30” D x 60” H. 15 KW are installed for heat input, while a 1000 CFM, 1 HP blower provides side-to-side horizontal airflow to the workload.
This Grieve shelf oven features 6” insulated walls, integrally welded construction, channel shelf supports and nickel-plated wire shelves. Additional features include 304 stainless steel interior and Trilite Green enamel painted aluminized steel exterior.
Controls on this Grieve oven include a digital indicating temperature controller, manual reset excess temperature controller and separate heating elements control contactors.

No. 879 is a 350°F (177°C), modified shelf oven from Grieve, currently used for pre-heating bulk friction material in trays at the customer’s facility. Workspace dimensions of this oven measure 68” W x 30” D x 36” H. A 1000 CFM, 1-HP recirculating blower provides horizontal airflow to the workload.
This Grieve modified shelf oven has 4” insulated walls, an aluminized steel exterior and Type 430 stainless steel interior. Features include two (2) shelf trucks with supports on 9” centers to correspond to wheel supports in oven and two (2) tiers of wheel tray supports to aid in loading trays from oven to trucks. Additional features include 350,000 BTU/HR installed in a modulating natural gas burner.
This Grieve oven includes all safety equipment required by IRI, FM and National Fire Protection Association Standard 86 for gas-heated equipment, including a 325 CFM 1/3-HP powered forced exhauster.
Controls on the No. 879 include adjustable, thermocouple actuated, manual reset excess temperature interlock, electronic flame safeguard protection, exhauster airflow safety switch, recirculating blower airflow safety switch and purge timer.

No. 859 is a 550°F (288°C), shelf oven from Grieve, currently used for drying powdered resin in trays at the customer’s facility. Workspace dimensions of this oven measure 44” W x 30” D x 60” H. 12 KW are installed in Nichrome wire heating elements, while a 1000 CFM, 1-HP recirculating blower provides horizontal airflow to the workload.
This Grieve oven has 4” insulated walls, Type 430 stainless steel interior and 4 independent doors for access to workspace, each opening 20-1/2” wide x 28-1/2” high. Features include 32 trays 19” wide x 29” long x 2-1/2” deep, a weekly timer to start and stop oven and a digital timer for each compartment with button and pilot light to indicate end of cycle.
Controls on the No. 859 include a digital indicating temperature controller, manual reset excess temperature controller with separate contactors, recirculating blower air flow safety switch and a 10” diameter circular chart recorder.

No. 834 is an electrically-heated 550°F(~287.78°C) shelf oven from Grieve, currently used for drying trays of ore samples. 12 KW are installed in Nichrome wire heating elements. Workspace dimensions are 50” wide x 30” deep x 54” high.
The unit has 4” insulated walls and a Type 430 stainless steel interior. A 1000 CFM, 1-HP recirculating blower provides horizontal airflow to the workload. Stainless steel pans are held by three tiers of seventeen shelf supports on a 3” vertical center.
Controls onboard No. 834 include a digital indicating temperature controller, recirculating blower airflow safety switch and a manual reset excess temperature controller with separate contactors.

This Grieve shelf oven features an aluminized steel exterior and Type 430 stainless steel interior with 4” thick insulated walls, integrally welded construction and silicone rubber door gasket.
No. 918 has onboard all safety devices required by IRI, FM and NFPA Standard 86 for gas-heated equipment, including a 325 CFM, 1/3-HP powered forced exhauster. In addition, a digital indicating temperature controller displays actual and set point values.
Two nickel-plated wire shelves are included with channel shelf supports to prevent tipping.
