500°F Electric Class 100 Cleanroom Cabinet Oven

923 GrieveNo. 923 is an electrically-heated, 500°F Class 100 cleanroom cabinet oven, currently used for drying precision parts in baskets.  Workspace dimensions measure 36”W x 36”D x 51”H.  30KW power installed in Incoloy-sheathed tubular heating elements and a 1500 CFM, 2-HP recirculating blower provide heated horizontal airflow to the workload.

This cleanroom oven features an aluminized steel exterior finished with white epoxy paint, #4 brushed finish stainless steel door cover and control panel face, Type 304, 2B finish stainless steel interior with continuously backwelded seams and 4” thick insulated walls.  Double front doors with positive latching door hardware are also included.

No. 923 has two 30” x 24” x 6” thick stainless steel high-temperature HEPA recirculating filters and easily removable ductwork to expose the filters for inspection and replacement.

Controls on this Class 100 cleanroom cabinet oven include a digital indicating temperature controller, manual reset excess temperature controller with separate contactors, recirculating blower airflow safety switch and solid-state contactors.

Vertical Conveyor Humidity Chamber from Grieve

906 GrieveNo. 906 is an electrically-heated vertical conveyor oven from Grieve, currently used for heating aluminum-clad automotive modules at a customer’s facility.  This oven has a maximum operating temperature of 250°F and overall workspace dimensions measuring 36”W x 38”D x 92”H.

20 kW total are installed in Incoloy sheathed tubular heating elements, while a 4,200 CFM, 3-HP recirculating blower provides vertical upward airflow to the load.  Eleven (11) trays, each 30”W x 14”D, ride vertically on a chain drive, individually indexed to the load/unload position.

This Grieve oven features an aluminized steel exterior and interior, top-mounted heat chamber, 4” thick insulated walls, two (2) independent doors for access to the workspace and heat chamber, loading table and safety light curtain at the load/unload position, plus a viewing window.

No. 906 is built to stringent JIC/NEMA 12 electrical standards and includes a remote control panel (not shown in photo).

Specially-modified High-temperature Walk-in Oven from Grieve

902 GrieveNo. 902 is an electric, high-temperature walk-in oven with a maximum operating temperature of 850°F.  Specially modified with rollout shelving, it is currently in use heat treating various components at a customer’s facility.  100 kW total are installed in Incoloy sheathed tubular heating elements, while a 10,000 CFM, 7-1/2-HP recirculating blower provides combination airflow to the workload.

This oven has overall workspace dimensions measuring 72”W x 78”D x 78”H, with a top-mounted heating chamber, aluminized steel interior and exterior, plus 3 (three) rollout steel shelves, each 60”W x 72”L, rated for 400 lb. Loads.  8” thick oven walls comprise 2” of 1900°F block and 6” of 10 lb./cf density rockwool insulation.

Grieve No.902 features inner and outer door gaskets.  The inner gasket seals directly against the door plug, while the outer gasket seals against the front face of the oven.  Both doors are equipped with expansion joints on the inner face to guarantee uniform sealing at all operating temperatures.

Oven controls include a digital programming and recording temperature controller, manual reset temperature controller with separate contactors, recirculating blower airflow safety switch and SCR power controller.

500°F Class 100 Cleanroom Cabinet Oven

880 GrieveNo. 880 is a 500°F electric Class 100 cleanroom cabinet oven from Grieve, currently used to cure urethane, silicone and steel parts at a customer’s facility.  Workspace dimensions of this unit measure 36”W x 36”D x 51”H.

30kW installed in Incoloy sheathed tubular elements heat the workspace, while a 1500 CFM, 2-HP recirculating blower provides horizontal airflow across the workload.

This cabinet oven features a 16 ga. Type 304, 2B finish stainless steel interior with continuously backwelded seam construction.  The exterior of the oven is finished with white epoxy paint and includes a #4 brushed stainless steel door cover and control panel face.  The unit has single side-swinging doors on the front and back of the workspace for easy access, plus 4” thick insulated walls.

No. 880 also features two 30” x 24” x 6” thick stainless steel, high-temperature HEPA recirculating filters.

All safety equipment required for handling flammable solvents is onboard this oven, including explosion-venting door hardware.

High-temperature 1250ºF Inert Atmosphere Cabinet Oven from Grieve

842 GrieveNo. 842 is a high-temperature, 1250oF electrically-heated inert atmosphere oven from Grieve, currently used for various stress relieving operations at a customer’s facility.

Workspace dimensions of this oven measure 36” wide x 48” deep x 36” high.  24KW installed in Incoloy-sheathed tubular heating elements furnish the heat, while a 1400 CFM, 1 ½-HP recirculating blower provides front to back horizontal airflow to the workload.

This Grieve oven has 10” insulated walls, aluminized steel exterior and Type 304, 2B finish stainless steel interior, plus three roller rails at the bottom of the workspace to support 2,500 lb. loads.  The oven includes an integral, heavy-duty leg stand.

Safety and control equipment on-board this Grieve oven include a 975 CFM blower to pull air through an air jacket on the inner oven for cooling, a digital indicating temperature controller, manual reset excess temperature controller with separate contactors, recirculating blower airflow safety switch, 10” diameter circular chart recorder and SCR power controller.

Grieve inert atmosphere oven construction features include all interior seams welded gas-tight, all wall penetrations welded inside and fitted with compression fittings outside, inner oven walls extended through oven throat area to seal directly against silicone rubber door seal, 2-point cam action positive latching door hardware, inert atmosphere inlet with pressure regulator, atmosphere flowmeter, and pressure gauge to indicate interior oven pressure.

High-temperature 2200°F Electric Inert Atmosphere Furnace from Grieve

854 GrieveNo. 854 is a special high-temperature, 2200oF electrically-heated, inert atmosphere floor furnace from Grieve, currently used for various heat treating applications at a customer’s facility.

Workspace dimensions measure 24” wide x 48” deep x 24” high.  53KW installed in heavy-gauge, high-temperature Kanthal AF alloy wire, rod overbend design heaters provide maximum operating temperatures to 2200OF.

This Grieve furnace features 9” insulated walls, consisting of 4 ½” thick 2600OF firebrick, 2 ½ thick 2300OF firebrick and 2” thick block insulation.  A firebrick plate hearth is supported on firebrick piers.  An electrically-operated vertical lift door is provided, with remote foot pedal control.

Special inert atmosphere construction on No. 854 includes a continuously welded outer shell, high-temperature door gasket, sealed heater terminal boxes, inert atmosphere inlet, outlet and flowmeter.

Safety and control equipment on-board this Grieve furnace include a digital indicating temperature controller, manual reset excess temperature controller with separate contactors and a four-channel strip chart recorder.

1200ºF Electric Walk-in Oven from Grieve

835 GrieveNo. 835 is a 1200ºF electrically-heated walk-in oven from Grieve, currently used for heat treating steel parts at a customer’s facility.

Workspace inside this oven measures 48” wide x 72” deep x 72” high and a maximum temperature of 1200ºF is provided by 120KW power, installed in Incoloy-sheathed tubular heating elements.  A 10,000 CFM, 7 ½-HP recirculating blower provides combination vertical/horizontal airflow to the load.

No. 835 features an aluminized steel exterior, 16 ga. stainless steel interior and 10” thick insulated walls, comprising 2” of 1900ºF block and 8” of 10 lb. density rockwool insulation, as well as a 7” insulated floor with integral truck wheel guide tracks.

Safety and control equipment on this Grieve oven includes a 325 CFM powered forced exhauster, digital indicating temperature controller, manual reset excess temperature controller with separate contactors, recirculating blower airflow safety switch, and a 4-pen circular chart recorder.
