Grieve Corporation introduces No. 817, a 500°F electric truck oven. This Grieve unit is a modified version of the company’s standard TBH-500 truck oven. The customer’s process required the optional Type 304, 2B finish stainless steel interior. All portions of the oven, which come in contact with the heated air, are constructed from Type 304 stainless steel including supply and return ductwork, the entire heat chamber and the recirculating blower wheel.
Workspace dimensions inside this unit measure 48” wide x 48” deep x 60” high. 24kW installed power is provided by Nichrome wire heating elements, while a 2000 CFM, 2 HP recirculating blower provides horizontal airflow across the workload.
No. 815 features rugged Grieve construction, including 4” insulated walls, 2” insulated floor with truck wheel guide tracks, and an aluminized steel exterior and Type 304.
A digital indicating temperature controller, manual reset excess temperature controller with separate heating element control contactors and recirculating blower airflow safety switch are among the safety equipment built into this Grieve truck oven.
Double front doors feature a silicone rubber door gasket and explosion-venting latches.

Grieve Corporation introduces No. 818, a 1000°F high-temperature universal oven, currently in use for cleaning and heat treating fuel nozzles at a customer’s facility.
Workspace dimensions inside this unit measure 24” wide x 36” deep x 24” high. 24kW power is installed in Incoloy sheathed tubular heating elements. A 1000 CFM, 3/4 HP recirculating blower provides a front-to-back horizontal “universal” airflow to completely surround the workload.
This Grieve oven features 8” thick insulated walls, an aluminized steel interior and exterior, plus inner and outer door gaskets. The inner gasket seals directly against the door plug, while the other gasket seals directly against the front face of the oven for optimum seal integrity. The unit accommodates up to seven shelves on 3” centers.
Standard equipment includes a digital indicating temperature controller, manual reset excess temperature controller with separate heating element control contactors, a recirculating blower airflow safety switch and a UL Listed control panel, top-mounted to minimize floor space requirements.
All standard universal ovens by Grieve meet the requirements of National Fire Protection Association Standard 86, Industrial Risk Insurers, Factory Mutual and OSHA Standards.

No. 1013 is an electrically-heated, 350ºF (~177ºC) cabinet oven from Grieve, currently used for curing rubber parts at the customer’s facility. Eight workspace openings with roller supported shelves each measure 36” W x 6-1/4” H x 24” D. 45 KW are installed in Incoloy-sheathed tubular heating elements, while a 7800 CFM, 5-HP recirculating blower provides horizontal airflow to the common central duct of the oven to heat the load.
This Grieve cabinet oven features 4” thick insulated walls, aluminized steel interior and exterior, top mounted heat chamber with access doors and 200 lb. capacity shelves that extend 24” in front of the oven for easier loading.
No. 1013 is also equipped with a digital indicating temperature controller, manual reset excess temperature controller with separate contactors, recirculating blower airflow safety switch and all required safety equipment for handling flammable solvents, including explosion venting door hardware. A programmable timer, interlocked to each door via a proximity switch, plus green lights for each door to indicate when curing time is completed are also onboard this oven.

No. 847 is a 500oF electrically-heated, rotary hearth oven from Grieve, currently used for preheating magnesium alloy castings prior to a shrink fit operation, at a customer’s facility.
Workspace dimensions of this oven measure 48” wide x 48” deep x 60” high. 34.8KW installed in Nichrome heating elements furnish the heat, while a 2000 CFM, 2-HP recirculating blower provides horizontal airflow across the load.
A two-tiered 44” diameter solid hearth with perforated separators at 900 is manually rotated during loading and unloading.
This Grieve oven features 4” insulated walls, an aluminized steel interior and exterior, plus two independent air-operated doors for access to the workspace.
Safety equipment is on-board to handle flammable solvents, including explosion-venting door hardware, manual reset excess temperature controller, back-up heating element relay, separately-powered forced exhauster, exhauster airflow safety switch, recirculating blower airflow safety switch and purge timer.

No. 1010 is an electrically-heated, 500ºF (~260ºC) cleanroom oven from Grieve, currently used for curing plastic mesh at the customer’s facility. Workspace in this oven comprises two chambers, each 34” W x 54” D x 72” H. 80KW are installed in Incoloy-sheathed tubular elements to heat the workspace, while a 10,000 CFM, 7-1/2 HP recirculating blower provides horizontal airflow to a common central duct system.
This Grieve cleanroom oven features 4” thick insulated walls, Type 304, 2B finish stainless steel interior with continuously backwelded seams, stainless steel exterior with #4 brushed finish, 24” x 24” x 6” thick HEPA fresh air filter with 2” prefilter, thus no internal filtration is needed. Shelf trucks with supports on 2” centers, as well as a transfer dolly with oven-to-dolly latch and dolly-to-truck latch, are also provided with this unit for easier load handling.
No. 1010 includes a digital programming temperature controller, 10” diameter circular chart recorder and SCR power controller onboard.

Grieve Corporation introduces No. 811, a 1600°F gas-heated belt conveyor furnace, currently in use for forming glass in alloy molds at a customer’s facility.
Workspace dimensions inside this unit measure 24” wide x 12’ deep x 22” high. Workloads travel atop a 6” wide, B-30-28-14, Type 314 stainless steel mesh conveyor belt with 1/4 HP motor drive, fixed speed 12 feet per minute, through a 36” long open belt loading zone, 12’ long insulated heat zone with three direct-fired furnaces and a 24” open unloading zone.
1,320,000 BTU/HR are installed in three modulating gas burners with a floor-mounted combustion air blower (not shown in photo). 7” thick insulated walls comprise 5” of 2300°F ceramic fiber and 2” block insulation; 6-1/2” thick floor insulation comprises 4-1/2” of 2300°F firebrick and 2” block insulation. Vertical lift doors at each end of the workspace provide further insulation.
A remote free-standing control panel (not shown in photo) is also included with this Grieve furnace, which features all safety equipment required by IRI, FM and NFPA Standard 86 for gas-heated equipment.

No. 995 is an electrically-heated, 1250ºF (~670ºC) high-temperature cabinet oven from Grieve, currently used for preheating steel forgings at the customer’s facility. Workspace dimensions in this oven measure 20” W x 40” D x 20” H. 60 KW are installed in Incoloy-sheathed tubular elements to heat the oven chamber, while a 2000 CFM, 2HP recirculating blower provides horizontal airflow to the workload.
Specially designed to handle high-temperature operation, this Grieve cabinet oven features 10” thick insulated walls, comprising 2” of 1900ºF block and 8” of 10 lb./cf density rockwool, plus Type 304, 2B stainless steel interior, motor-operated vertical lift door and alloy roller rails at the workspace floor level, rated for 1500 lb. loading.
No. 995 is built to NEMA 12 electrical standards and is equipped with SCR power control.

Grieve Corporation introduces No. 827, a 400°F electric belt conveyor oven, currently in use for preheating automotive fabric panels at a customer’s facility.
Workloads travel atop a 30” wide, mesh Teflon-coated fiberglass conveyor belt with 1/4 HP motor drive, variable speed from 0.5 to 10 feet per minute, through a 78” long open belt loading zone, 120” long insulated heat zone with recirculated airflow, and a 39” long open unloading zone.
40 kW power is installed in Incoloy sheathed tubular heating elements, while a 4200 CFM, 3 HP recirculating blower provides vertical upward and downward airflow to the workload. This oven is equipped with exhaust hoods over each end of the workspace, to exhaust heat and fumes escaping the open ends of the heat zone.
No. 827 features a conveyor belt tracking system, consisting of photoelectric eyes to sense belt position and shift pneumatically-operated steering rollers.
This Grieve oven has an aluminized steel interior and exterior, 4” thick insulated walls, plus all the safety equipment required for handling flammable solvents.

Grieve Corporation introduces Model VA-500, a standard 500ºF electric cabinet oven, which features full vertical-up air flow. This unit is specifically designed for workloads where heated air must pass upward through the load – such as open-ended cylinders or hanging parts.
Workspace dimensions inside this unit measure 26” wide x 26” deep x 38” high. 6.6 kW power is installed in Nichrome wire heating elements, while a 700 CFM, 1/2 HP recirculating blower provides vertical upward airflow to the workload.
No. 828 has 4” thick insulated walls, an aluminized exterior, Type 430 stainless steel interior, 12 shelf supports on 3” centers, two (2) standard nickel plated wire shelves with 200 lb. capacity each and a heavy-duty door with explosion-venting latches and a high-temperature door gasket with stainless steel spring insert.

No. 992 is an electrically-heated, 500ºF (~260ºC) two-zone belt conveyor oven from Grieve, currently used for drying and curing ceramic cement at the customer’s facility. 48 KW (24 KW per zone) are installed in Nichrome wire elements to heat the oven chamber, while 4000 CFM (2000 CFM in each zone) are provided by two 2-HP recirculating blowers with vertical downward airflow to the workload.
Each of the two work zones in this belt conveyor oven consists of a 2’ long insulated, unheated entrance vestibule; 4’ long insulated heat zone with recirculating airflow; 2’ long insulated, unheated exit vestibule; 1’ long open zone; 5’ long cooling zone and 1’ long open belt loading and unloading zone.
The conveyor belt on No. 992 is 30” wide, 1” x 1” high carbon steel flat wire, powered by a 1/3-HP motor drive, variable from 0.5 to 10 ipm. Also onboard this oven are two 16” diameter tubeaxial fans, each driven by a 3/4-HP motor to push/pull air through the cooling zones.
The Grieve conveyor oven further features 4” insulated walls, aluminized steel interior and exterior, plus two doors for access to the workspace and heating chambers.
Controls on No. 992, provided in one cabinet for each of the two heating zones (as shown in photo), include a digital indicating temperature controller, manual reset excess temperature controller with separate contactors and a recirculating blower airflow safety switch.
