No. 944 is a 750°F electrically-heated cabinet oven from Grieve, currently used for sintering operations at a customer’s facility. Workspace dimensions measure
44”W x 30”D x 60”H. 30kW installed in Incoloy-sheathed tubular heating elements heat the oven, while a 2000 CFM, 2 HP recirculating blower provides a horizontal airflow to the workload.
The Grieve cabinet oven features 6” insulated walls, aluminized steel exterior, Type 430 stainless steel interior and four 20”W x 28”H independent doors for easy access to the workspace. Eight removable loading pans are provided for each door compartment (32 pans total).
No. 944 has a digital indicating temperature controller, manual reset excess temperature controller with separate contactors and 10” diameter circular chart recorder onboard. In addition, four timers, each with a pilot light and door interlock, are included to individually time the heating process in each compartment.

No. 946 is a 1000°F, electrically-heated vertical airflow walk-in oven from Grieve, currently used for curing coatings on titanium screens. Workspace dimensions measure 72”W x 156”D x 96”H. 360kW installed in Incoloy-sheathed tubular heating elements provide the power, while a 24,500 CFM, 20 HP recirculating blower provides a vertical downward airflow to the workload.
This Grieve oven features 8” insulated walls, Type 304L, 2B finish stainless steel interior, stainless steel exterior with #4 brushed finish and 6” insulated floor with integral truck wheel guide tracks for easy loading and unloading.
No. 946 has double doors, front and rear, each with inner and outer door gaskets. The inner gasket seals against the door plug, while the outer gasket seals directly against the front of the oven.
A removable top-mounted heat chamber (shown removed in photo) is also provided.
Safety equipment is onboard for handling flammable solvents, including explosion-venting door hardware.

No. 950 is a 350°F gas-heated walk-in oven from Grieve, currently used for bonding composite materials inside molds. Workspace dimensions of this oven measure 10’W x 20’D x 8’H. 700,000 BTU/HR installed in a modulating natural gas burner provide heat, while a 24,500 CFM, 20-HP recirculating blower provides a combination airflow to the workload.
The Grieve walk-in oven (shown here split into three sections for shipping) features 4” insulated walls, aluminized steel interior and exterior, heavy-duty double doors and a 1/4” steel plate floor.
All safety devices required by IRI, FM and NFPA Standard 86 for gas-heated equipment are onboard No. 950, including a 6500 CFM powered forced exhauster. No. 937 is a gas-heated, 500°F belt conveyor oven from Grieve, currently used for curing rubber. Workspace dimensions measure 36”W x 68”D x 15”H. 175,000 BTU/hr installed in a modulating natural gas burner heat the unit, while a 3,300 CFM,
2 HP recirculating blower provides vertical downward airflow to the workload. This oven features a 6” long open belt loading zone, 12” long insulated, unheated entrance vestibule, 60” long insulated heating zone with recirculated airflow and a 12” long insulated unheated exit vestibule.
The unit has 4” insulated walls throughout, aluminized steel interior, stainless exterior with #4 brushed finish and a 30” wide, 1” x 1” flat wire conveyor belt with 1/4 HP motor drive, variable from 1-20 inches per minute.
This Grieve oven also included a digital indicating temperature controller and fused disconnect switch.
A side hinged door allows access to the workspace and heat chamber.

No. 938 is a 1250°F electrically-heated inert atmosphere oven from Grieve, currently used for heat treating copper parts at the customer’s facility. Workspace dimensions measure 36”W x 120”D x 36”H. 80kW installed in Incoloy-sheathed tubular heating elements deliver power to the unit, while a 6,000 CFM, 5 HP recirculating blower provides a universal front to rear airflow to the load.
This inert atmosphere oven features an aluminized steel exterior, Type 304, 2B finish stainless steel interior and 10” insulated walls, comprising 2” of 1900°F block and 8” of 10 lb./cu. ft. density rockwool insulation. Inner and outer door gaskets are provided, with the inner gasket sealing against the door plug, while the outer gasket seals directly against the front face of the oven body.
No. 938 has all construction features onboard for inert atmosphere operation, including pressure regulator, pressure gauge, internal high temperature gasket, all-welded expansion connection in doorway throat, air jacket on inner oven body for cooling, 1/2” thick silicone rubber atmosphere seal, blower shaft seal, positive latching door hardware, adjustable offset door hinges, outlet with pressure relief, interior seams welded gas-tight and all wall penetrations fitted with compression fitting for maximum integrity.
Additionally, a 975 CFM blower is provided to pull air through the air jacket on inner oven for cooling. The entire unit is built to meet JIC / NEMA 12 electrical standards.
A digital programming temperature controller, manual reset excess temperature controller with separate contactors and SCR power controller are included, as well.
This Grieve inert atmosphere oven is mounted to an integral leg stand.

No. 919 is a seven-zone, gas-heated belt conveyor oven from Grieve, currently used to cure various coatings onto ceramic parts. Maximum operating temperatures are 350°F in Zones 1-4 and 1000°F in Zones 5-7. Workspace dimensions measure 51”W x 56’D x 15”H, with a 30” long open belt loading zone, four 3’ long insulated heat zones with independent recirculated airflow and temperature control (350°F), 30” long open zone, three 3’ long insulated heat zones with independent recirculated airflow and temperature control (1000°F), 9’ long cooling zone and 3’ long open unloading zone.
400,000 BTU/hr. are installed in modulating natural gas burners in Zones 1-4, with 500,000 BTU/hr. in Zones 5-7
A 1/2” wide, B36-20-12-14, Type 316 stainless steel balanced weave conveyor belt is powered by a 1-HP motor drive, variable from 1.5 to 30 inches per minute.
A 30,000 CFM, 30-HP recirculating blower provides vertical upward airflow to the workload in Zones 1-4, while 25,000 CFM, 20-HP unit in Zone 5 and 12,500 CFM, 10-HP units in Zones 6-7 do likewise.
Two 36” diameter tubeaxial fans, each driven by a 5-HP motor, push / pull air through the oven’s cooling zone.
This Grieve belt conveyor oven features an aluminized steel exterior and Type 316L, 2B finish stainless steel interior with continuously welded seams. There are 4” thick insulated walls in Zones 1-4 and 8” thick insulated walls, comprising 2” of 1900°F block and 6” of 10 lb/cf density rockwool, in Zones 5-7.
The unit has top mounted heating chambers, doors for access to the work space and heat chambers in each zone and is designed to be split into two sections for easier shipment.
No. 919 has onboard all safety devices required by IRI, FM and NFPA Standard 86 for gas-heated equipment, as well as digital indicating temperature controllers.
