No. 1008 is a 500ºF tunnel oven with gravity roller conveyor from Grieve, currently used for preheating metal housings at the customer’s facility. Workspace dimensions of this oven measure 42” W x 72” D x 30” H. 30 KW are installed in Incoloy-sheathed tubular elements to heat the oven chamber, while a 3000 CFM, 1-1/2 HP recirculating blower provides vertical downward airflow to the workload.
This Grieve tunnel oven features 4” thick insulated walls plus an aluminized steel interior and exterior. The work zone comprises a 66” long open loading zone, 72” long insulated heat zone with recirculated airflow and 66” long open unloading zone, with a 36” wide roller conveyor with rollers on 3” centers. Motor-operated vertical lift doors are supplied on each end of the oven.
Controls on No. 1008 are built to NEMA 12 electrical standards and include a digital indicating temperature controller, manual reset excess temperature controller with separate contactors and a recirculating blower airflow safety switch.

No. 1006 is an electrically-heated 350°(~177°C) gravity roller design, conveyorized tunnel oven from Grieve, currently used for drying precipitate in pans at the customer’s facility. Workspace dimensions of this oven measure 66” wide x 19’ deep x 15” high. 120 KW are installed in Incoloy sheathed tubular heating elements, while a 17,500 CFM, 15-HP recirculating blower provides vertical downward airflow.
This Grieve oven features 4” insulated walls, aluminized steel interior and exterior and a gravity roller conveyor with 1.9” diameter rollers on 6” centers. It also includes a 4’ long open loading zone, 19’ long insulated heat zone and 4’ long open uploading zone.
Additionally, controls on No. 1006 include a digital indicating temperature controller, manual reset excess temperature controller with separate control contactors, recirculating blower airflow safety switch and NEMA 12 control enclosure with fused disconnect.

No. 960 is a gas-heated, 550ºF tunnel oven from Grieve, currently used by the customer for processing various composite resins and fibers. Workspace dimensions of this unit measure 75”W x 156”D x 25”H. 400,000 BTU/HR are installed in a modulating gas burner to heat the unit, while a 12,500 CFM, 10 HP recirculating blower provides vertical downward airflow to the load.
This oven features 4” insulated walls throughout, an aluminized interior and exterior, motor-operated vertical lift door, side doors for workload access/maintenance and integral guide tracks at the workspace entry to support the customer’s wheeled loading fixture for faster start-up of the process.
No. 960 includes all safety equipment required by IRI, FM and National Fire Protection Association Standard 86 for gas-heated equipment, including a 325 CFM, 1/3 HP powered forced exhauster. This tunnel oven also has a digital indicating temperature controller onboard.

No. 878 is a 350°F gas-heated tunnel oven from Grieve, currently used for drying water from aluminum parts hung on a monorail pass-through conveyor at the customer’s facility. Workspace dimensions of this unit measure 30”W x 192”D x 66”H. The workload passes through a 24” long insulated, unheated entrance vestibule, a 144” long insulated heat zone with recirculated airflow and a 24” long insulated, unheated exit vestibule. This oven is suspended from the factory ceiling and operated by a remote control panel (shown aside the unit in photo).
500’000 BTU/HR installed in a modulating natural gas burner heat the workspace, while a 6,000 CFM, 5-HP recirculating blower provide vertical downward airflow to the workload. The unit has a bottom-mounted heat chamber and a 24”W x 72”H side door for access to the chamber and workspace.
This tunnel oven features an aluminized steel interior and exterior. Interior supports are provided for the customer’s pass-through monorail. 4” thick insulated walls are also included.
All safety equipment required by IRI, FM and NFPA Standard 86 for gas-heated equipment are onboard this Grieve oven, including a 650 CFM, 1/2-HP powered forced exhauster.
