No. 808 is an electrically-heated, 500ºF (260ºC) walk-in oven from Grieve, currently used in the process of scrap recovery on photocopier rolls at the customer’s facility.
Workspace dimensions measure 84” W x 102”D x 78”H. 420KW are installed in Incoloy sheathed tubular elements to heat the unit, while a 17,500 CFM, 15-HP recirculating blower motor provides a combination airflow to the workload.
This unique Grieve walk-in oven features 4” thick insulated walls throughout, with the unit split into three sections (as shown in photo) to pass through a 72” doorway. The unit has a 16 Ga. aluminized steel interior, 16 Ga. stainless steel heating chamber interior and aluminized steel exterior, as well as a remote-mounted 1000 CFM powered forced exhauster. In addition, two 30” x 24” x 6” thick stainless steel high-temperature HEPA filters are onboard to filter exhaust air, while twelve 24” x 24” x 6” thick stainless steel high-temperature 65% ASHRAE recirculating filters are installed in the air return ductwork at the ceiling level.

No. 803 is an electrically-heated, two-zone walk-in oven, currently used in tandem with a customer’s conveyor system for heating 27′ long pallets of vacuum laminations. This Grieve unit has a maximum operating temperature of 650°F and workspace dimensions of 6′ W x 28′ D (in two 14′ zones) x 5′ H.
A 100 KW heat input is installed in each zone in Incoloy sheathed tubular heating elements, while a 12,500 CFM, 10 HP recirculating blower provides horizontal airflow to the workload in each zone. A top-mounted heat chamber is located above each heating zone, as well, on this Grieve oven.
No. 803 features an aluminized steel interior, motor-operated vertical lift door with foot switch at each end of the oven and a reinforced floor and support stand to raise the oven floor to meet the customer’s conveyor height.
Controls on this Grieve oven include a digital indicating temperature controller and manual reset excess temperature controller for each zone, as well as a two-pen circular chart recorder.

No. 973 is an electrically-heated, 500ºF (260ºC) walk-in oven from Grieve, currently used to cure rubber parts in rotating baskets at the customer’s facility. Workspace dimensions measure 36” W x 60” D x 60” H. 40KW are installed in Incoloy sheathed tubular elements to heat the unit, while a 4200 CFM, 3 HP recirculating blower motor provides combination horizontal/vertical airflow to the workload.
A motorized roller rack is onboard with two levels of 4” dia. driven rollers, each supported by metallized carbon bearings. Each level of rollers holds two 20” dia. stainless steel perforated drums, rotating at 6 RPM, which carry the workload. The rollers are driven via sprockets and a roller chain, exterior to the oven rear, by a 3/4 HP AC motor with inverter variable speed control, gear reducer and torque limiter.
This Grieve walk-in oven features 4” thick insulated walls throughout and an aluminized steel interior and exterior. There’s also a top-mounted heat chamber, single front door and an access door to allow cleaning of the heaters.
Controls on No. 973 include a 10” dia. circular chart recording and programming temperature controller, manual reset excess temperature controller with separate contactors and recirculating blower airflow safety switch.

No. 946 is a 1000°F, electrically-heated vertical airflow walk-in oven from Grieve, currently used for curing coatings on titanium screens. Workspace dimensions measure 72”W x 156”D x 96”H. 360kW installed in Incoloy-sheathed tubular heating elements provide the power, while a 24,500 CFM, 20 HP recirculating blower provides a vertical downward airflow to the workload.
This Grieve oven features 8” insulated walls, Type 304L, 2B finish stainless steel interior, stainless steel exterior with #4 brushed finish and 6” insulated floor with integral truck wheel guide tracks for easy loading and unloading.
No. 946 has double doors, front and rear, each with inner and outer door gaskets. The inner gasket seals against the door plug, while the outer gasket seals directly against the front of the oven.
A removable top-mounted heat chamber (shown removed in photo) is also provided.
Safety equipment is onboard for handling flammable solvents, including explosion-venting door hardware.

No. 950 is a 350°F gas-heated walk-in oven from Grieve, currently used for bonding composite materials inside molds. Workspace dimensions of this oven measure 10’W x 20’D x 8’H. 700,000 BTU/HR installed in a modulating natural gas burner provide heat, while a 24,500 CFM, 20-HP recirculating blower provides a combination airflow to the workload.
The Grieve walk-in oven (shown here split into three sections for shipping) features 4” insulated walls, aluminized steel interior and exterior, heavy-duty double doors and a 1/4” steel plate floor.

This Grieve walk-in oven features an aluminized steel exterior and interior with 7” thick insulated walls, plus a 4” thick insulated floor with built-in truck wheel guide tracks. Inner and outer door gaskets are provided, with the inner gasket sealing against the door plug, while the outer gasket seals directly against the front face of the oven.

Grieve Corporation introduces No. 825, a 500°F electric walk-in oven, currently in use for curing latex at a customer’s facility. This unit is a modified version of the company’s standard model WTH566-500 walk-in oven.
Workspace dimensions inside this unit measure 54” wide x 72” deep x 72” high. 30 kW power is installed in Incoloy sheathed tubular heating elements, while a 6000 CFM, 5 HP recirculating blower provides horizontal airflow across the workload.
Construction features on No. 825 include 4” thick insulated walls, 2” insulated floor with truck wheel guide-tracks, aluminized steel exterior, Type 304, 2B stainless steel interior with continuously front-welded seams, cellular silicone rubber door gasket, stainless steel water cooling coil located in heat chamber, removable top-mounted heat chamber, to minimize floor space requirements, and the oven body split into three sections for customer loading onto their elevator.
Special safety equipment onboard this Grieve oven includes a digital programming temperature controller, manual reset excess temperature controller with separate heating element control contactors, recirculating blower airflow safety switch, SCR power controller and a 6” strip chart recorder.

The door sill is eliminated, as two front doors are equipped with drag seals. The oven body was designed to split into two sections for easier shipment.

No. 920 is a gas-heated, 500°F walk-in oven from Grieve, currently used for curing various rubber parts. Workspace dimensions measure 52”W x 48”D x 48”H. 350,000 BTU/hr. are installed in a modulating gas burner, while a 4,200 CFM, 3-HP recirculating blower provides horizontal airflow to the workload.
This Grieve walk-in oven features a stainless steel exterior with #4 brushed finish, Type 430 stainless steel interior with continuously backwelded seam construction and 4” thick insulated walls. A top-mounted heating chamber is provided to conserve floor space, while a motorized damper on the exhaust accelerates the unit’s cooling. Oven exhaust discharges into a Type 304 stainless steel scrubber with brass piping. The scrubber uses recirculated water, sprayed by a 1-1/2-HP pump into the exhaust, to remove particulates.
Workloads are carried on the unit’s dual shelf trucks, each with channel supports on 3-1/2” centers. A transfer dolly is provided to carry two trucks and features oven-to-dolly and dolly-to-truck latches for easy loading / unloading. The oven has a 4” insulated floor with two pairs of truck wheel guide tracks built atop the floor.
No. 920 has all safety devices required by IRI, FM and NFPA Standard 86 for gas-heated equipment, including a 650 CFM, 1/2-HP powered forced exhauster. This oven also features a digital programming temperature controller, 10” diameter circular chart recorder and fused disconnect switch.
