Exact Metrology Now AS9100 Certified at Cincinnati Location

Leader in 3D and CT scanning for industrial, commercial concerns achieves key aerospace supplier metric  

On January 28, 2016, Exact Metrology achieved certification as an AS91900 supplier, for its Cincinnati facility. Exact is a leading supplier of 3D and industrial-grade CT scanning equipment and services to myriad industries and commercial concerns. Co-President Steve Young, who heads up the Cincinnati operation for the company, made the announcement today.   “In achieving this prestigious certification, our team has great pride of accomplishment, as the AS9100 audit and certification process is extremely rigorous and required an in-depth knowledge by every associate at Exact of job performance scope, expectations, issue resolution protocols and our overall process operation.”

As the certification notes, Exact has its recognition for “…sales and supply of 3D non-contact and contact measuring equipment for inspection and reverse engineering to the commercial, aerospace, medical, automotive and industrial manufacturing industries.”

Expanding on the audit process, Co-President Dean Solberg notes, “Every one of our associates realized something very special during the audit. Namely, because it was necessary that they understood the process and purpose of their work plus the issue resolution scenarios required, they appreciated their roles as interconnected team members at Exact. That’s very exciting to witness and has already raised their level of involvement in day-to-day operations.”   He further observed that the audit required a new level of goal orientation, self-evaluation and awareness of improvement possibilities across the entire facility, including operations, accounting, sales, service and especially management.

The AS9100 is a vital certification for the work this facility performs in the aerospace sector.
