Platinum Tooling Takes Over Europe!

The Platinum Tooling team recently traveled to Europe to meet with several partners. Their first meeting with Heimatec took place at an offsite conference center located in Appenweier, Germany.  Preben was joined by his U.S. and Canadian sales representatives for technical and sales training.  The following day, PT traveled to Renchen to visit Heimatec’s offices and do a plant tour in the morning. Upon returning to Appenweier in the afternoon, they met with Henninger management Dominik Kerres and Benjamin Tschampel (pictured) who shared information about speeders and custom solutions for machining centers.

 After a productive day, the Platinum Tooling and Heimatec teams enjoyed a traditional meal at Vollmer’s Mühle, a restaurant/mill in the Black Forest over 250 years old.

Platinum Tooling’s trip in Germany continued with a visit to Hommel & Keller in Aldingen with a deep dive into the world of precision knurling and marking technology.

The weeklong trip ended at REV in Northern Italy. There, Platinum Tooling improved their knowledge of precision broaching tools.
