No. 866 is a 550° (288°C) belt conveyor oven from Grieve, currently used for heat treating coiled spring steel at the customer’s facility. Workspace dimensions of this oven measure 18” W x 20’ D x 15” H. 60 KW are installed in Nichrome wire heating elements to heat the oven, while a 4200 CFM, 3 HP recirculating blower provides vertical downward airflow to the workload.
The oven travel comprises an 1-1/2’ long open belt loading zone, 20’ long insulated heat zone with recirculated airflow, 1’ long open zone, plus a 12’ long cooling zone and an 1-1/2’ long open unloading zone.
This Grieve belt conveyor oven features 4” insulated walls, aluminized steel exterior and stainless steel interior. Two 12” diameter tubeaxial fans, each driven by a ½ HP motor, push/pull air through cooling zone and a 12” wide, ½” x ½” high carbon steel flat wire conveyor belt with 1/3 HP motor drive, variable from 16 to 44 inches per minute, are also onboard the oven.
Controls on the No. 866 include a 10” diameter circular chart recording temperature controller and a manual reset excess temperature controller.

Workspace dimensions of this oven measure 36” W x 18’ D x 15” H. 800,000 BTU/HR are installed in a natural gas burner to heat the oven chamber, while a 12,500 CFM, 10-HP stainless steel recirculating blower provides vertical downward airflow to the workload.
The oven travel comprises a 3’ long open belt loading zone, 18’ long insulated heat zone with recirculated airflow, 3’ long open belt unloading zone and a 30” wide, Type 304 stainless steel woven wire conveyor belt with 3” high flex plate edges, driven by a ½-HP motor v-belt drive, variable from 1-19 IPM.

Workspace dimensions of this oven measure 6-1/2’ W x 35’ D x 1-1/2’ H. 1,650,000 BTU are installed in a modulating natural gas burner to heat the oven chamber, while a 24,500 CFM, 20 HP recirculating blower provides vertical downward airflow to the workload.
This Grieve oven features a 5’ long open belt loading zone, 35’ long insulated heat zone with recirculated airflow and 1’ long open belt unloading zone, plus 4” insulated walls, aluminized steel interior and exterior. A 6’ wide, 1” x 1” galvanized steel, flat wire conveyor belt with ¼ HP motor drive, variable from 5 to 50 feet per hour, transports the workload. Side access doors are provided along the length of the workspace to inspect the load and service the heating chamber.
All safety equipment required by IRI, FM and NFPA Standard 86 for gas-heated equipment are provided on this belt conveyor oven, including a 1500 CFM, 2 HP powered forced exhauster.
Controls on No. 864 include a conveyor belt start/stop, digital indicating current proportioning temperature controller, manual reset excess temperature controller, variable SCR drive to control conveyor belt speed, pilot lights to indicate when blower and heat are energized, pushbutton electronic ignition, on-off heat switch and main oven control pushbuttons. The NEMA 12 control panel is equipped with a lockable fused disconnect switch.

Workspace dimensions of this oven measure 21” W x 38” D x 3” H. 40 KW are installed in Incoloy-sheathed tubular elements to heat the oven chamber, while a 1600 CFM, 1-1/2 HP recirculating blower provides vertical downward airflow to the workload.
This Grieve packaged conveyor oven features 10” thick insulated walls made from 8” of 1900ºF block and 2” of 10 lb/cf density rockwool insulation, aluminized steel exterior, Type 304, 2B finish stainless steel interior and an 18” wide, 1” x 1” stainless steel flat wire conveyor belt with 1/3 HP motor drive, variable from 0.05 to 1.20 feet per minute. The oven travel comprises a 30” long open belt loading zone, 38” long insulated heat zone with recirculated airflow and 30” long open unloading zone. 10” x 10” stainless steel mesh screens above the return ductwork below the conveyor are provided to collect debris from the workload.

Workspace dimensions of this oven measure 30” wide x 25’ deep by 18” high, with 4’ long open belt loading and unloading zones at each end. A 10,000 CFM, 7 ½-HP recirculating blower provides vertical downward airflow to the load, while a 350,000 BTU/HR modulating natural gas burner provides heat to the workspace.
No. 838 features a 24” wide, B-42-24-16 balanced weave conveyor belt with roller chain edge drive, powered by a 1/3-HP motor drive with variable speeds from 5-100 ipm.

No. 853 is a 500oF electrically-heated belt conveyor oven from Grieve, currently used for curing coating and heat shrinking plastics at a customer’s facility.
Workspace dimensions of this oven measure 30” wide x 96” deep x 24” high. A 2’ long open belt loading zone, 8’ long insulated heat zone with recirculated airflow and 2 ½’ long open belt unloading zone constitute the full heat processing system. 48KW installed in Nichrome wire heating elements provide the heat, while a 4200 CFM, 3-HP recirculating blower furnishes vertical downward airflow to the load.
This Grieve oven features 4” insulated walls, a Type 304, 2B finish stainless steel interior, stainless steel exterior with #4 brush finish, as well as a 24” wide, 1” x1” Type 304 stainless steel flat wire conveyor belt with ¼-HP motor drive, variable speed from 0.9 to 17.6 ipm. No. 829 is an electrically-heated 250°F(~121.11°C) belt conveyor oven from Grieve, currently used for curing epoxy on metal and nylon filter assemblies. 40 K are installed in Incoloy sheathed tubular heating elements. Workspace dimensions are 30” wide x 10’ deep x 15” high.
The oven has 4” insulated walls and an aluminized steel interior and exterior. A 4200 CFM, 3-HP recirculating blower provides vertical upward and downward airflow to the unit. The oven has three zones: a 2’ long open belt loading zone, 10’ long insulated heat zone with recirculated airflow and a 2’ long open unloading zone. The product is moved through the oven on a 24” wide, 1” x 1” Type 304 stainless steel flatwire conveyor belt with a 1/4 HP motor drive, with variable speed from 0.3 to 6 feet per minute.
Controls onboard No. 829 include a digital indicating temperature controller, manual reset excess temperature controller with separate contactors, SCR power controller, fused disconnect switch and a recirculating blower airflow safety switch.

350,000 BTU/HR are installed in modulating natural gas burners in each of the two heating zones on this Grieve conveyor oven. An aluminized steel exterior houses 4” insulated walls, Type 304 stainless steel interior with continuously welded seams in Zone One and aluminized steel interior in Zone Two.
A 16” diameter tubeaxial fan driven by a 3/4 HP motor pulls room air through the cooling zone.
All safety equipment required for gas heated equipment by IRI, FM and NFPA Standard 86 is on No. 810, including 325 CFM, 1/3 HP powered forced exhausters, airflow safety switches, hi/lo gas pressure switches, excess temperature controllers and electronic flame safeguard protection.
This unit also features doors at both ends of the workspace to contain heat, as well as pushbutton electric ignition for ease of operation and a recording thermometer. No. 810 was entirely designed, engineered, built and fully tested by Grieve.

360 kW power is installed in Incoloy sheathed tubular heating elements, while a 24,500 CFM, 20 HP recirculating blower provides vertical downward airflow onto the workload.
No. 820 features rugged Grieve construction, with an all-welded aluminized steel exterior, Type 430 stainless steel interior, 4” insulated walls and heavy-duty structural steel channel base.
